The committee has decided to initiate repair work at the haat before its reopening, as informed by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Bishalgarh Binoy Bhusan Das. A joint team from India and Bangladesh will visit the Kamalasagar-Kasba border haat next week to assess the repair requirements. Once the repairs are completed, a joint inspection is scheduled to take place in the first week of July to determine the final decision on reopening the border haat.
