In a significant step towards empowering local communities and fostering development in the border region, the Indian Army’s General Headquarters (adgpi) collaborated with the Zemithang administration to organise a week-long cooking and baking workshop for Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
As the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) continues to unfold, this initiative was conducted as part of the program’s aim to enhance livelihood in the border areas. It is expected that similar initiatives will be implemented, providing more opportunities for skill development, entrepreneurship, and overall growth in the border areas.
In a tweet on Friday, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu praised the launch of the VVP by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasising its objective to uplift every individual residing in the border areas through comprehensive development, enhanced opportunities, and improved living standards.
Vibrant Village Program launched by Hon PM Shri @narendramodi Ji aims at reaching the last person in the border with development, opportunities & improved living standards.
