Jigme Yeshe Lama

The author is an Assistant Professor at the University of Calcutta in the department of Political Science. He hails from Darjeeling, West Bengal. He holds an PhD degree from the Chinese division of the Centre for East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. His research interest covers culture in theories of International relation, Himalayan Studies, Chinese domestic politics, Tibet and postcolonial studies. He edited the book titled “Changes on the roof of the world: Reflection on Tibet”, a volume on Tibet.
